Manager, Talent Acquisition
Terry Thiele received her BFA from James Madison University’s FIDER accredited Interior Design program. Her summer internship was spent working with Gwathmey Siegel Associates Architects in Manhattan. After completing school, she worked as a designer for Michael Graves and Associates before leaving the field to work as a recruiter.
Terry started Transept Recruiters in 2007 in order to combine her two loves- design and recruiting- and to provide a specialized resource for A/E/C firms seeking qualified candidates.
Terry left Transept Recruiters in January, 2012, to join a mid-sized A/E/C firm based in Manhattan as a member of their Talent Acquisition team. Having recently relocated to a branch office in Washington, DC, she is currently seeking engineering, architecture, and construction talent up to the Executive level. She works closely with leadership across all divisions which include Transportation and Infrastructure (roads, bridges, railway, traffic, transit), Construction Management (buildings and transportation), Buildings and Facilities (architecture and engineering design), and Energy (oil and gas facilities and pipelines). She pre-screens candidates and makes hiring recommendations to the company's managers.
